Mr. Stewart here. I love food. I love cooking. I love exploring the world through food. What are some of your favourite "cultural" foods (foods that have distinctive cultural connections like sushi, perogies, jambalaya, Jamaican patties and haggis)? What nation's food would you LIKE to try but haven't? What is the most unique thing you have eaten? |

I really enjoy sushi because it's a unique way to combined different foods (it tastes amazing) another reason I like sushi is that my girlfriend makes me try different types when we go out and I'm always happy to try new things and different cultural food.

The most unique thing I have eaten was haggis, it may not be the best dish in the world, even for myself who is of Scottish decent it was an acquired taste that I am still working to acquire. I am more into the Aboriginal foods and the Jamaican foods for they are just absolutely delicious. And very spicy.

I'm a big fan of greek food, and as a vegetarian. I love Spanakopita, its a traditional dish of the Greek culure and hands down the best tasty dish ever. Right now I am finally gonna try Oceania dishes (Australian, New Zealand, Fiji) see if I like it or not. Before I came a vegetarian, I really don't think I ate cow/pig meat.

+ the most unique thing I ever ate was probably Melitzanosalata (Eggplant Dip). I hate eggplant with a passion, but this is the only exception ever. Even roasted grapes is what I really like to have with me when I'm studying or watching a movie.

I AM A BIG FAN OF INDIAN TACOS OKAY.. they are so filling yet I can have 11 of them probably. They are my favourite unhealthy, satisfying food ugh yum. I think the most unique food I have tried was when my aunty, who is from Pattaya made all these spicey foods, chicken, veggies, potatoes and literally every food had spices in it that just attacked your taste buds in a good way! I really want to try any special irish foods, because that's my nationality but I never really tried anything special that is originally from Ireland.

Indian tacos are actually life changing. 10/10 would marry it if it was legal.

Brio. Oh God please no. Not the Brio. Jimmy stop. Please. Before it's too late. On a serious note however, have you tried genuine, or as genuine as possible, Italian pizza? Because I hear it's quite different from the North American version.

I would be terrified to eat a Emu burger to be honest.

Unfortunately for me, I haven't had the best chance to try out different nation's foods. The only sushi I've gotten to try has been cheap and unsatisfying, and my family doesn't have many (if any) cultural recipes.

Sushi. I am a sushi addict! i love sushi, Its delicious. In all honesty though, i am taking mr stewarts advice and doing a restaurant roulette when i have a chance. that way i can try more different foods. However i have tried many different cultural foods and i love them all. I love my own nationalities foods like Pilmeni, perogies, cabbage rolls and more, but i also LOVE indian food and sushi.
