What do you think of this quotation and photo? What factors teach us to, too often, judge people by their outward appearance? Have you ever meet someone who is "more beautiful" inside than outside? Vice versa? What other quotes or thoughts does this remind you of? In some cultures, aging is celebrated. How is aging seen in our society? This quote is beautiful. It highlights the common saying beauty is within. It not only highlights the idea but opens it up as a "what if" thought. With societies constant expectations of all sorts; from the idea of what it means to be beautiful to gender norms this quote is basically saying what if we can look past the idea of what society interprets as beauty. What if we judged character? From the words from one of my favourite artists."You can't tell the boys from the girls it's a tragedy, oh no now you have to judge them based on their personality" ~ boyinaband.

I really enjoy this quote and the picture because in my opinion some people find older people less attractive but there beautiful all the same. Also the people we consider typically "attractive" might be good looking but if you're rude or ignorant your not very good looking at all.

I totally agree with the fact that some people who are labeled as attractive can instantly loose their physical appeal to me, if they are ignorant or rude.

I think this photo is beautiful, and I think this quote is beautiful. Though it is social media who makes us feel less beautiful on the outside rather on the inside. I would never say i met someone more beautiful on the inside rather than on the inside because when I see a person I don't judge people on the outside, I think we all have our own beauty but yes i have seen a beautiful person but their personality was dull. This picture and quote reminds me of myself because I wish people thought of me as beautiful when i was 160lbs and no braces but they never even met me before they judged me then. Age doesn't matter either, I think the older you get the more beautiful you are because all your smiles that caused the wrinkles make you so beautiful.

This is literally the most beautiful thing I read since Just Kids by Patti Smith. Beauty is in all of us, and everyone should know it.

Life would be a lot easier if people only seen your soul, people wouldn't be able to see the negative parts about you and they would only be able to see the true beauty of a person

This quote, to me, is rather redundant, as I already live by this. I don't care if someone looks good or not. I couldn't care less. All that matters, all that SHOULD matter, is personality. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how hot you are, if you are scum.

This is a quote that runs through my mind day by day.

This message is very powerful, although it is generally directed at women it is just as powerful for men. There is a common disbelief that guys don't have to worry about this either. I hate the fact that media portrays the perfect man as tall and muscular. I hate this attitude. I often see guys feeling bad about their body image, because they wish to be tall, or their overweight. Body image shouldn't be focused on. Fitness should be a thing of personal preference. It should be your choice what to look like and should not concern others. Comments are closed.
