What do you think about these statistics? Why do you think there are differences?

i think these stats are wrong on so many different levels. i have met many women that are better in their field of expertise than men. but by that i do not think that women should be payed more than men, i think everyone, no matter the gender, race, religion or anything else should make a difference in the world. if they are good at their job, pay them what the white university educated man sitting at the table beside them doing the same flipping job makes.

So many people don't think there are things wrong with the world, when the stats are right in front of them. It's so wrong that people get different pays based on gender, race, religion, sexuality, etc. It would make a lot more sense if the pay was based on how they worked. The fact that this happens in the world, is sickening and makes me want to stay my age for a much longer time.
I feel like work places do this because it's more judgement than anything. That they don't read into their employees any farther than what's on the outside instead of what they actually do.
